Leeds & Newcastle
Word of the day: Onomatopoeia & Penultimate
So Wolverhampton was canceled, The plan was to drive there and stay in the hotel we had booked only half hour form the venue and just have a day of rest!
Turns out you can only get 3 people in a Travelodge.............Not 8. So Chirs and Tibby waddled in to book in a check out if they could sneek us in. Fuzz, Myself and Norris sat in the can still get a call from chris saying we cant get in. the £10 diesel back to Milton Keynes VS. The £39 For a room settled the score. Myself norris and fuzz drove back again to Milton Keynes.

Me and Fuzz ended up spending the night at Jacks house. Norris buggered off to get balls deep with his girlfriend and miss out on man times (No offence norris) The thing is i have known known jack for what must be about 3 years now and never in that time have i been to his house or met his parents. He's always been somewhat illusive on that front. The times before we have stayed with him was at hus friends uni flat where he had a key and would sneak in when they were all back home with there family's.
So the picture i had printed of what jacks house would look like was hardly picture perfect. However when we got there, it turns out his parents home is probably one of the nicest houses i have ever been into!
Everything was oversized and modern, his room was immaculate yet full of stuff that just sums up who jack is. Flyers of old shows, keyboards, some 70's racing bmx. Even an amy can flyy poster on his wall!
After about 10 mins we were all just in our pants chilling out watching antiques programs. I had what may have been the nicest bath of my life...EVER and spent about a hour and a half listing to Dallas Green having a good old soak.
We ended up at some club night. Well if you can call it a club night. I could count the amount of people there on one hand if im honest! See the problem i have is when your at a club and the D.J plays Incubus three times in the space of 1 hour. Its a sign you should really leave. 2 portion of cheezy chips and what may be the most bizzare conversation with a taxi driver ever. We were back at jacks all tucked up in bed sound asleep .Well me and fuzz were. I am pretty sure jack was up all night arguing with chris or something over FB chat.
Leeds.
In the morning Norris picked us up looking refreshed and cheery and we drove all the way back to meet up with the others at the hotel somewhere near wolverhamton. When we got there mark was stood out side with a plasic cup, he had only bloody won some money of a fruit machine, sold a few Ep's and hit on the emo girl working at WHsmiths! WOOF
The drive to leeds was short and uneventifull. The venue on the other hand looked like it should be a lazer quest. The massive Beam in the middle of the stage where i was supposed to stand did not fill me with confidence about the venue. The sound guy was really nice. However is love of filling the room with gothic epic rock pissed us off so much we went to primark and i wasted my money on socks, hairbands, raybans and a coat! nomnomnom
None of us were expecting the show to be as busy as it was. We sold a shit ton of merch and everyone seemed well up for getting involved and enjoying themselfs.
Canda water edd got the worlds worst migrane on stage and spent the rest of the evening curled up on the sofa wrapped up in Tibbys coat hating on life.
Casio kid came on and the sound just well there wasnt sound. The guitar cut out the backing track was too low and jacks vocals....well im not sure they were plugged in to start with.
Me and chris were stood at the side of the stage looking at eachother like Oh fuck this is going to be fun!
reluctently we head onstage after Casio kid and set up and started to play. Out of nowhere the sound got good and we played probably the best set of tour so far.
My voice held out and i really enjoyed myself!
After the show we went to the hotel and got ready to go to Slam Dunk.
Probably the best club night EVER.
In the morning, hanging out of our asses we hit the road to newcastle.
Turns out it was the same venue that we met suzi:won in for lunch over two years ago. After what may have been the best lunch ever we loaded in to this venue. It was just a perfectly square dark room with a balcony surrounding the stage.
On our first tour we played the carling academy 2 in newcastle with sabrepulse and casio kid. It was sold out and probably one of the best shows and days of my life. Needless to say with this in mind we still had high expectations for the show tonight.
I spend most the night waiting outside in the cold for my friend Sophie who never turned up! by the time i went back inside it was pretty much time to go on stage. The turn out was pretty poor and everyone was in a fowl mood. We went on and made the most of a bad situation. After we loaded out we found jack waisted arguing with our tour manager about where we were staying. It ended up in Jack going home with Rob, the bum loving promoter. Leaving the rest of us going back to the hotel.
Heartlepool!
45Min drive and we were there at lunch time. We slept in the venue. Went to a museum, it turns out you guys hung a monkey because you thought it was a french spy. Well done guys!
The show was shocking 15 through the door. We got hammered Ed dressed up as a woman we partied and made the most of it...Again!
Leciester!
We stayed with ben the promoter after the heartlepool show. IN the morning he woke us up at 9am and kicked us out because he had to get a tattoo.
Spoons breakfast was cheap and lovely. After killing a few hours the new driver arrived and we changed from noris to Tom!!!!
Loaded into the venue and i met up with my old friend lucy, it was honestly so lovely to see her it was unreal. A few hours later my lovely ex girlfriend turned up and we had a good cath up too.
The show was rammed about 300 people, the best pick me up ever. We made a killin on merch again and everyone was so involved. A lot of kids seemed to know the words and singing a long as loud as we were.
It was the best feeling ever, last time we a show like that was Northampton last year and it was so refreshing. Best feeling evereverevereverever!
Shortly after we got of stage we were told no one was allowed out the building. The lovely people of leciester were beating people up outside and the show was shut down. Insted of us feeling really bad for this poor lad we made the most of everyone being in one room and were running around selling merch like dirty salesmen haha!
We brought subways, a few members of some bands swapped out hotel room for some green and we stayed at the promoters again.
Fuzz, tibby and me went straght to bed. Mark and jack got naked and had a bath togeather.
